It all began with a single cup. In 2010, our founder Rajan Pillai, a coffee planter's son from Coorg, set up a humble stall outside a Bengaluru railway station. His filter coffee — made from beans his family had grown for generations — became an overnight sensation.
Word spread. The stall became a café. The café became a chain. Today, Chai & Brew has 18 outlets across 7 cities in India — from Mumbai to Chennai, Delhi to Kochi. But our soul remains rooted in those Coorg hills.
We are proud to be 100% Indian — sourcing from Indian farms, employing local baristas, and serving beverages that celebrate India's incredible coffee and tea heritage.

We are committed to eco-friendly practices — biodegradable packaging, zero food waste, and supporting sustainable farming communities in Coorg and Wayanad.
5% of every cup sold goes to our farmer welfare fund, directly supporting the estate workers who grow our exceptional coffee beans.
Every barista at Chai & Brew is SCA-certified and undergoes 120 hours of training before they serve their first cup to a customer.
